The KMS Swimmers jumped into competition Wednesday night in the pool at Kenmore West against crosstown rivals Hoover Middle.  Everyone on the team had an excellent first swim meet of the season!  The medley relay of Jacob Wiegand, Angela Westfall, Maddie Love, and Rachel Valente had a first place finish, and Jacob also did well in the 200 yard freestyle and the 50 yard backstroke.  Emily Mangus and Caroline Andrews both had first place finishes in their heats of the 50 yard freestyle in their very first swim meet for KMS.  Hope Falzone won her heat of 50 yard breaststroke, and Angela and Tyler Westfall went 1-2 in the same event. Ryan McNamara had good times in the backstroke events, and Noelle Eubanks and Briana Asobie both improved their times over last season.Congratulations to all of our KMS Swimmers!

All 8th graders interested in JV football, there will be a winter workout program starting Tuesday, February 3, held in Kenmore West's gym from 7:00 am - 8:00 am.  This is a valuable program for 8th grade students on getting back into shape for next year's football season.  If you have any questions about the program, Please see Chris Kaszynski.
