HERDING FOR THE HURTING
Ken-Ton Schools are collecting gently used shoes to benefit the city of Boston.
One Fund Boston helps those that help those affected by the tragedy that occured on April 15, 2013.
The shoes will then go on to benefit the less fortunate living in West Africa.
There will be a drop-off bin outside the Main Office at Jefferson.
So... what can you donate?
-Men's dress shoes, casual shoes, sandals
-Ladies flats, low heels, sandals
-Athletic basketball, tennis, running, soccer and rubber cleats
Kid's casual, dress and athletic shoes
----Please, no flip flops, boots, crocs or high heels.

  • We are proud of the work that our Community Leaders have accomplished in the 2011-2012 School Year.
     
    Our Activities Included:
    Valentines for Veterans
    Donating and Making Crafts for the SPCA
    Walking to a Local Nursing Home to perform for residents
    Planting flowers for our Local Firefighters
    Creating Tray Favors for Meals on Wheels
     
    Our First Event of the 2012-2013 School Year was "Take A Veteran To School Day"
    Jefferson Students invited family members who have served or are currently serving in our military
    to be a part of our Annual Veteran's Day Assembly on Friday, November 9th.
     
    Our Second Event of the 2012-2013 School Year was a toy drive to help Hurricane Sandy victims
    Jefferson Students donated toys and made cards for families that were devastated by this storm just before the Holiday Season.
